Your host & chef, Sal Tedesco, was born in Sicily and grew up in Monterey as the son of a Sicilian fisherman.
The restaurant was established in the 1970's. Sal & Ashley Tedesco took ownership in 2000, subsequently transforming it into
Paluca Trattoria. Paluca is the combination of the names of our cherished sons Paolo + Luca.
